On Saturday, October 18th I attended the third annual Pittsburgh Podcamp. Because I maintain three blogs, I knew a get together of people working on the Internet would be right up my ally.
1. The real money to be made online may be in consulting, building technology for other bloggers or finding a way to bundle and easily search all the content being posted on the Internet.
2. All of my domain names are apparently too long. (Dang it!)
3. To gain useful feedback in your posts: ask questions, post surveys, and inspire your audience to take action.
4. There are small investment firms that help people at the very beginning of creating a business. One such company exists in Pittsburgh and it's name is AlphaLab.
Have you ever attended a conference or a convention that is outside the writing field? Do you have a favorite one that the Writer's Comfy Corner should know about?
